Hi I’m Jane Hennebry member of the Rates Control Team and I was elected onto Environment Waikato in 2007.   I am the Chair of the Environment Committee.

The Rates Control Team exists to act as a voice for all of the region’s  EW ratepayers  and promotes affordable and sustainable management of our precious environment.  In the past double digit  rate rises was the norm. Our team is committed to keeping them at the CPI (inflation).
On this site I hope to post comments, news and views that will be of help and interest to all ratepayers and particularly those in my ward.   Please bookmark my blog and visit often.   I will try to keep it fresh and interesting, challenging and informative.  It would be great if you could click the RSS/Atom feed so that as soon as I post an article it will be emailed to you.  You can also join my email list -all email addresses will be kept private and only ever used for advising you of updates and news concerning the Rates Control Team and my role as an elected Councillor for Environment Waikato.
